The key focus of this position is to market Parkland’s products and services to farm customers by providing a superior level of agronomic support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage farm customer accounts through farm calls
• Implement sales programs to promote products and services
• Develop marketing plans to meet sales and margin targets
• Liaise with suppliers regarding products and programs
• Develop and maintain customer cropping and manure management plans
• Organize grower meetings and plot tours
• Hire and train summer staff

Qualifications:

• 2 years related agronomic or agronomic sales experience
• Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Ag Business or related discipline
• Possess good knowledge of Western Canadian farming practices
• Eligible for Certified Crop Advisor designation
• Strong technical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential
• Have a passion for farm business
